Biography

Renée has written six novels and seventeen plays, a collection of humorous articles (Yin & Tonic), and a guide to writing memoir, Your Life, Your Story.  She has contributed to various anthologies and collections.

As well as writing, Renée enjoys teaching. She teaches Creative Writing at Whitireia Community Polytechnic, Wellington, and when time allows, tutors workshops (writing a novel and/or plays) all round New Zealand.  She teaches an annual workshop, Your Life Your Story, for the Cancer Society of New Zealand (Wellington Branch). 

Her novels include, Kissing Shadows (2005), The Skeleton Woman (2002), The Snowball Waltx (1997), Does This Make Sense to You? (1995), Daisy and Lily (1993) and Willy Nilly (1990).
