Biography:

Christa Wichterich is a researcher and journalist based in Bonn, Germany. Her most recent book is The Globalized Woman: Reports from a future of inequality. Christa Wichterich is member of Women in Development Europe (WIDE), and for twenty years has worked on development and women’s rights, and since 1995 particularly on the development-trade-and-gender-nexus. She is a regular speaker at international forums and conferences.
